| Professor and Chairman of Radiology at Sapienza – University of Rome, Italy. Currently member of the Superior Health Council of the Italian Ministry of Health, President of ESGAR (European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology) and Past-president of ESOI (European Society of Oncologic Imaging). Honorary Member of the Spanish Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (SEDIA). Author of over 300 papers on “peer reviewed” journals. His main areas of research and teaching are Abdominal Imaging, with particular expertise in bowel imaging, Oncology, including hybrid imaging and AI. His research was supported by numerous grants from European and national research organisations. |
