| Silvio Brusaferro is President of Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) and Full Professor of Hygiene at the University of Udine. He is a MD specialized in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (UK). Since 2015 he has been the representative for Italy at ECDC – European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. Silvio Brusaferro’s scientific interests include public health policy, quality and clinical risk management of healthcare organizations, and Antimicrobial Stewardship. He is co-author of more than 200 articles. |
