| Prof Bucciarelli-Ducci is associate professor of cardiology with expertise in cardiovascular imaging, particularly cardiovascular magnetic resonance. She is currently affiliated with the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, Guys’ and St Thomas’ NHS Trust and Kings College London. She graduated from Rome, University “La Sapienza” and pursued a PhD at Imperial College London. She is a past vice-president of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) of the European Society of Cardiology and currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, based in the USA. She has published over 230 international articles in the field of cardiology and/or imaging. She is currently the deputy editor (imaging) of the European Heart Journal and in the editorial board of JACC Cardiovascular Imaging and Circulation Cardiovascular Imaging. She has collaborated with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of the United Nations and with the European Medicine Agency. |
