Carlo Della Rocca was born in Rome, Italy. He riceived is MD degree in Medicine and Surgery at Sapienza in 1985 and the certification for medical practice of Pathological Anatomy in 1989. He has been a Vising Fellow several times at memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, and is the author of nearly 300 scientific papers published extensively in international journals. Full professor of Pathological Anatomy since 2006, from 2011 to 2017 he was President of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery (Latina Campus) of Sapienza University of Rome. from 2007 to 2017 he led the peer accreditation program (“On site visits”) of the Permanent Conference of the Presidents of the Master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery and he personally participated to over 20 on-site accreditation visits of italian Medical Degree courses. Since 2017 he is Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine of the “Sapienza”University of Rome and since the same year he is President of the Permant Conference of the Medical Faculties and Schools of Medicine and Surgery. Since 2020 he is member of the national Observatory of the Health Residency Programs. |
