| Xavier Jeunemaitre is an MD, trained as an internist and specialized in cardiology. He received his PhD in human genetics at the University P&M Curie, Paris France, after training in molecular genetics at the College de France in Paris and at the University of Utah, USA. Being appointed as a Professor in Genetics at Université Paris Descartes, he headed the Department of Genetics at the Hospital Pompidou and a research team “Genes and rare cardiovascular diseases” at the Paris Cardiovascular Research Centre, Paris France. He has been appointed in 2019 as the Dean of the Faculty of Health of the Université Paris Cité. |
