| Rino Rappuoli is Global Head R&D GSK Vaccines, Honorary Professor at Imperial College London, and Extraordinary Professor at the University of Siena. He is elected member of the US National Academy of Sciences, the European Molecular Biology Organization, the Royal Society of London, and the Accademia dei Lincei. Dr. Rappuoli has designed, developed and implemented innovative concepts and technologies critical for the licensure of vaccines amongst others against pertussis, diphtheria, influenza, meningococcus C and B.
