She has worked with Rotary International for more than 20 years on polio advocacy work with donor governments to secure funding for Polio eradication. Her work has taken her all over the world, participating in immunisation campaigns, high-level meetings, and working closely with partners in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI). She is a Member of International PolioPlus Committee (IPPC) and has chaired the IPPC Grants Sub Committee which recommends grants to WHO and Unicef up to $150million annually; and currently is Chair of the IPPC Sub Committee on Afghanistan. She is Coordinator of Rotary Global Polio Eradication Advocacy Task Force and UK National Advocacy Adviser,and is Dean of the Rotary Representatives to the UN and International Agencies. |
