| Carlo G. Cereti is Full Professor in Iranian Studies at Sapienza – University of Rome and Coordinator of the Class in Humanities at its Scuola Superiore di Studi Avanzati. He is Rector’s delegate for International cooperation and was 2009-2017 Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy of Italy in Tehran. He serves as Secretary of the Italian Higher Education with Africa Foundation, Member of the Board of UNIMED and Director of the Mediterranean Region – Association for the Study of Persianate Societies. In 2004-2011 he was Member of the Board of IsIAO and in 2003-2006 Italian Governor at the Asia Europe Foundation. |
